Doechii has been taking on the hip hop scene one music and efficiency at a time.
She’s again in the present day with a model new efficiency for NPR’s Tiny Desk Live performance. Backed by a full band, horns and two background singers in addition to her DJ Miss Milan, Doechii positively put collectively top-of-the-line performances on the present so far.
After doing cuts from her Grammy nominated mission ALLIGATOR BITES NEVER HEAL, she closed her set with “Black Lady Memoir” from her debut album, Oh The Locations You’ll Go. Earlier than performing, she shared, “I wrote this music particularly for Black ladies. As a dark-skinned lady, there’s a really distinctive expertise I’m attempting to internalize … That is devoted to all the gorgeous Black ladies within the room.”
