Joey Bada$$ isn’t resting submit his current battle season. The New York emcee took on many rappers from the West Coast — from Ray Vaughn and Daylyt, to Purpose and in some senses, even Ab-Soul. Now, he’s coming again with a full size challenge.
That’s appropriate; Joey is releasing his upcoming album on August 1st. The challenge is titled Lonely At The High, which appears to be a celebration of what was arguably one of many best battle runs within the mainstream, in a very long time. The one one who had a greater battle run in current time, after all, is Kendrick Lamar — however that’s not an emcee Joey Bada$$ is afraid of, as he’s made clear a number of occasions (albeit within the spirit of wholesome competitors).
